Cap. 55. To enable fir William Hamilton, knight of the most

honourable order of the bath, his heirs and affigns, to make and

provide quays, docks, piers, and other erections; and to efta-

blia market, with proper roads and avenues thereto refpectively,

within the manor or lordship of Hubberton and Pill, in the county

of Pembroke.

Cap. 56. To alter and amend an act, paffed in the last feffion

of parliament, for making and maintaining a navigable canal from or

from near to Cromford Bridge, in the county of Derby, to join and

communicate with the Erewath Canal, at or near Langley Bridge;

and alfo a collateral cut from the faid intended canal, at or near Cod-

nor Park Mill, to or near Pinxton Mill, in the faid county.

Cap. 57. For making and maintaining a navigable commu-

nication between Stowmarket and Ipswich, in the county of Suf-
fall.

Cap. 58. For draining, dividing, and inclofing, certain moors,

commons, or wafte lands, called Edington, otherwife Burtle

Mor, Eaft Heath, Weft Heath, and Clyde Batch, within the

hamlet of Edington, and parish of Moorlinch, in the county of
Samer fet.

For more effectually embanking the marsh called

Milldraeth and Corfddaugcu, in the county of Anglefey, and drain-

ing and preferving the fame, and the inclofed low lands con-

tiguous thereto.

Cap. 60. For effectually carrying into execution two acts, of

the fixteenth and twenty-fifth years of his prefent Majefty, for

making and maintaining a navigable canal from the Stourbridge

navigation to the Birmingham and Birmingham and Fuzely canal

navigations, in the counties of Worcester and Stafford.

Cap. 61. For authorifing and enabling the right honourable

George earl of Mount Edgcumbe and Reginald Pole Carew efquire,

to eftablish and maintain a common ferry over and across the

river Tamer, between a certain place north of Plymouth Dock, in

the parish of Stoke Damarel in the county of Devon, and Torpoint

in the parish of Antony Saint Jacob, otherwife Antony in the Eafi,

in the county of Cornwall.

Cap. 62. For paving, cleanfing, lighting, and widening the

frets, lanes, and paffages; for removing and preventing en-

croachments, nuifances, and annoyances; and for regulating the

porters and drivers of carts, within the borough of Truro, and

part of the adjoining parishes in the county of Cornwall.

Cap. 63. For preferving the works made for supplying the

Town of Bradford, in the county of York, and part of the town-

hip of Horton, in the parish of Bradford aforefaid, with water;

eafy recovery of the rents for the faid water; and

enable the proprietors thereof to borrow money for the im-

proving fuch works.

Cap. 69. For amending and enlarging the powers of, and ren-

dering more effectual, an act made in the twenty-eighth year of

the reign of his prefent Majefty, intituled, An att for pulling

down the church of Saint James at Clerkenwell, in the county of

Middlesex; and for building a new church, and making a new church

yard, or cemetery, in the faid parish, with convenient avenues and
paffages thereto; and for purchafing Pentonville chapel, and making
the fame a chapel of ease to the faid church.

Cap. 70. To amend an act of the last feffion of parliament,

for providing an additional burial ground for the parish of Saint

James, Westminster, and erecting a chapel adjoining thereto, and alfo

a houfe for the refidence of a clergyman to officiate in burying the dead.

Cap. 71. For taking down the church and tower belonging

to the parish of Saint John at Hackney, in the county of Middle-

fex, and for building another church and tower for the use of the

faid parish, and for making an additional cemetery or church

yard.

Cap. 72. For taking down the church, chancel, and tower,

belonging to the parish of Banbury, in the county of Oxford, and

for rebuilding the fame.

Cap. 73. For forming a junction between the Forth and Clyde

navigation and the Monkland navigation; and for altering, en-

larging, and explaining several former acts paffed for making

and maintaining the said navigations.

Cap. 74. To alter and amend an act, made in the fourteenth

year of the reign of his late majefty King George the Second, in-

tituled, An act for the effectual draining and prefervation of Water-

beach Level, in the county of Cambridge; and to establish an agree-

ment made between the lord of the manor of Waterbeach cum Den-

and the commoners within the faid manor.

Cap. 5. To enable the company of proprietors of the Staf-

ford and Worcestershire canal navigation, to improve the na-

vigation of the river Severn, from Stourport, in the county of

Wrajter, to a place called Diglis, near the city of Worcester.

Cap. 76. For forming and keeping in repair the streets and

other publick paffages and places, within a certain diftrict, in

the parish of Saint Luke, Chelsea, in the county of Middlesex, called

Hans Town, and for otherwise improving the fame.

Cap. 77. For the better paving, cleanfing, lighting, and

watching the city of Coventry, and the fuburbs thereof, and re-

moving and preventing nuifances and annoyances therein; and

for regulating the publick wells and pumps within the said city

and fuburbs.

Cap. 78. To continue an act, made in the fixth year of his

prefent Majefty's reign, intituled, An act to regulate the loading of

hips with coals, in the ports of Newcastle and Sunderland.

Cap. 79. For rebuilding the parish church of East Grinstead,

in the county of Suffex.

Cap. 80. For providing a workhouse for, and for the better

relief and employment of, the poor of the parish of Streatham,
in the county of Surrey; and for appointing an additional over-
feer for the better government of the poor of the faid parish.

Cap. 81. For providing a new poor houfe for, and for the

better relief and government of, the poor of the township of

Manchefter, in the county of Lancaster.

Cap. 82. For making and maintaining a navigable canal from

Merthyr Tidvile, to and through a place called The Bank, near

the town of Cardiff, in the county of Glamorgan.

Cap. 83. For impowering perfons navigating boats, barges,

and other veffels, in the river Ouze, in the county of Norfolk, to
hale or tow with horfes, or other beafts, on the banks or fea
walls of the faid river; and for making fatisfaction to the owners
of the faid banks or sea walls.

Cap. 87. For continuing an act of the twelfth year of h

prefent Majesty, for repairing and amending the road from Berftre

Gates, in the city of Norwich, to New Buckenham, in the coun

of Norfolk.

Cap. 88. To enlarge the term and powers of an act paffe

in the tenth year of the reign of his prefent Majefty, for repair
ing, widening, and altering the road from Macclesfield, in the coun
of Chester, to the turnpike road at Randle-Carr Lane Head
Fernilee, in the county of Derby, leading to Chapel in the Frith.

Cap. 89. For continuing the term, and altering and enlargin
the powers, of certain acts of parliament, for repairing the roa
from Royston, in the county of Hertford, to Wandesford Bridge
in the county of Huntingdon, and from the town of Huntingdon
the causeway at or near the west end of the town of Somerfham, i
the county of Huntingdon, fo far as relates to the middle an
fouth divifions, and separate district, of the said roads.

Cap. 90. For enlarging the term and powers of an act of th

eighth year of his prefent Majefty, for amending, widening, an

keeping in repair, several roads leading to and through the town

Goudhurst, in the county of Kent.

Cap. 91. For enlarging the term of an act of the elevent

year of his prefent Majesty, for repairing, widening, and keepin

in repair, feveral roads leading from Tavernfpite to the towns

Pembroke and Tenby, and to Hubberston Haking, in the coun

of Pembroke.

Cap. 92. To enlarge the term and powers of an act, paffe

in the twenty-eighth year of the reign of his prefent Majefty
for repairing and widening the road from the Leicester and Welfor
turnpike road, in the counties of Leicester and Northampton, nea
Fofton Lane, to the turnpike road leading from Hinckley to Athb
de la Zouch, in the faid county of Leicester; and for repairin
and widening two pieces of road, called Hunt's Lane and Woo
Lane, in the parishes of Desford and Newbold Verdon.

Cap. 93. For making and repairing the road from Newmil
Bridge, by Foodie's Mill, Inverkeithing, Aberdour, Kirkcaldy, Ga
latown, and Cameron Bridge, to Craill, and other roads in th
county of Fife.

Cap. 94. For enlarging the term of feveral acts, made for re

pairing the roads from Stump Crofs to Newmarket Heath, an

from Stump Crofs aforefaid to the end of the town of Trumping

ton, next to Shelford, and from Shelford Pound to Wittlesford

and for making more effectual provifion for repairing the fai

roads, and also one mile of the road between Trumpington an

Cambridge, commencing at the fouth end of Trumpington afore

faid; and for amending the road from Chefterford Bridge to the

-end of Wittlesford next to Shelford, all in the county of Cambridg

Cap. 95. To enlarge the term and powers of fo much of a
act, made in the ninth year of the reign of his present Majesh

as relates to the amending, widening, altering, clearing, and
keeping in repair, feveral roads leading from the borough of
Darch, in the county of Dorfet.

Cap go. For enlarging the terms, and altering the powers,
of two acts, made in the fixteenth year of the reign of his late
Maty, and in the ninth year of the reign of his prefent Ma-
jey, for repairing the roads leading from Marlborough, through
W Keanet to Sheppard's Shord, and from the Hare and Hounds,
a Beckhampton, to the top of Cherril Hill, and from the town of
Aury to the cross way at Beckhampton, and from the turnpike
gate at Avebury to Wroughton, and from the north fide of Swin-
d, to the Carpenter's Arms in Blunfden, in the county of Wilts,
and for diverting, turning, and altering part of the faid roads;
and for repairing and widening the road on the west side of The
Tree Barrows, from the direction poft there, on the new road
leading from Beckhampton to Devizes, to the distance of one mile
from the faid direction poft weftward.

Cap. 97. For continuing the term, and enlarging, altering,
and amending, the powers of an act, made in the tenth year of
his prefent Majefty, for repairing, widening, and keeping in repair,
the road from New Chappell, in the county of Surrey, over Cop-
thorn, in the county of Suffex, through Lindfield, to the town of

Ditchling, up to the top of Ditchling Boft Hills, in the faid county

of Suffex.

Cap. 98. For repairing and widening the road from Rowde

Ford to Red Hill, and from Chittoe Heath to the town of Calne,

in the county of Wilts; and for repealing three acts, made in

the fecond and twenty-fifth years of the reign of his late majefty

King George the Second, and in the twenty-third year of his

prefent Majefty, for repairing the highways between Sheppard's

Shard and Horley Upright Gate, leading down Bagdown Hill, in

the county of Wilts, and other ruinous parts of the highways

thereunto adjacent.

Cap. 99. For continuing the term, and altering and enlarging

the powers of certain acts, made for repairing the road from

Keighley, in the west riding of the county of York, to Kirkby in

Kendal, in the county of Westmorland, fo far as relates to fuch

part of the faid road as lies within the county of York.

Cap. 100. For making, amending, and keeping in repair, the

read from Fefbrook, in the parish of Dillorn, through Dillorn, and

from thence to or near to Chedleton, in the county of Stafford.

Cap. 101. To enlarge the terms and powers of three feveral

ats, made in the thirteenth year of the reign of King George

the First, the twenty-first year of the reign of King George the

Second, and the eleventh year of the reign of his prefent Ma-

ty, for repairing the road leading from the town of Bromsgrove,

the county of Worcester, to the town of Birmingham, in the

County of Warwick.

Cap. 102. For making, amending, widening, and keeping in

repair, a road from Eve Hill near Dudley, to the New Inn, in

the parish of Pattingham, and from the turnpike road at or near
