Whether he had completed its preparation is not known, but the additional notes were left in the finished and perfect state which characterized all his works, and give reason to believe that his labors were done. The additions are not numerous, but they possess a peculiar interest, as being the last contributions of the author to that science which his labors through life had done so much to illustrate.
