CHAP. 149.-AN ACT for the relief of Thankful Reynolds.

CHAP. 150.-AN ACT for the relief of Valerian Allain.

entitled "An act for the final adjustment of land titles in the State of Louisiana, and Territory of Alabama," entered, as appears by the certificate of the register of the land office for the eastern district of Louisiana, on the fifth day of April, eighteen hundred and thirty-two, by Valerian Allain, George Dolandes, and Robert Boyd, one hundred and sixty acres each, at one dollar and twenty-five cents per acre, paid at the time of the entry (and the said Valerian Allain having purchased of George Dolandes and Robert Boyd the land designated in certificates numbers seventeen and nineteen, which said land, by a survey subsequent to said entries, was found to be located partly on sections sixteen and seventeen, in township seven, south of range twelve east,) be, and the same are hereby, confirmed to the said Valerian Allain; and the Commissioner of the General Land Office is hereby authorized to issue to the said Valerian Allain patents therefor.

CHAP. 151.-AN ACT in favor of Mary Snow.

Pension of $60 per annum allow

[SEC. 1.] Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of War be, and he is hereby, directed to place the name of Mary Snow, widow of Jonas Snow of the State of New York on the revolutionary pension roll, ed. the rate of sixty dollars per annum, during her natural life; to commence on the fourth day of March one thousand eight hundred and thirty-one.

[SEC. 1.] Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress Excess of duty assembled, That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is paid on a cargo of salt, to be refund- hereby, authorized and directed to refund and pay over to James Seaburn the sum of ninety-five dollars and twenty-six cents, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, it being the amount of excess of impost duty demanded of him, and paid by the said James Seaburn, on a cargo of salt imported into the port of Wilmington, North Carolina, from Turks Island, on the eighth day of July, one thousand eight hundred Proviso: it was and fifteen: Provided, That the Secretary of the Treasury be first satisfied that the said sum was demanded of the said James Seaburn, and paid by him without the authority of law.
