PATRIOTIC FUND, Established by

the Subscribers to Lloyd's by a vote in 1803 of 20,0007.; in 1809 of 5,0001.; and in 1812, of 10,0007. aided by public contributions, for the encouragement and relief of those engaged in defence of this country during the war, which commenced in 1803, and terminated in 1815. Gratuities are now in the course of being granted, out of the balance remaining of the above-named fund, to Soldiers, Seamen, and Marines in Her Majesty's service, disabled from wounds received in action with the enemy in the present war with

Russia-and, also, to such Reletives (not the widows and orphans -they being provided for by the Royal Patriotic Fund) as depended for support on those killed in action, whose circumstances require relief.
