As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father, so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. John vi. 40, 57. Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but, ye see me : because I live ye shall live also. John xiv. 19. These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come: glorify thy Son, that thy Son may also glorify thee; As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. If Abram were justified by works he hath [whereof] to glory, but not before God. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works. Rom. iv. 2, 5, 9. For [the children] being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election, might stand, not of works but of Him that calleth. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. Rom.ix. 11, 19. If by grace then [it is ] no more of works. Rom. xi. 6. Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law : for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us. Titus iii. 5. God hath chosen the foolish things of the world, to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world, to confound the things which are mighty. That no flesh should glory in his presence. 1 Cor. i. 27,

29. For we are his Know ye that the Lord he [is] God; [it is] he [that]

hath made us and not we ourselves; [we are his people, workmanship,
