thee whither thou wouldest not. This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith

unto him, Follow me. Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following, which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee? Peter seeing him, saith to Jesus. Lord, and what shall this man do Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? Follow thou me.

Ps. ii, 6. Yet have I set my King upon my holy hill of Zion.

Ps. xlv, 1, 2, 4. My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the King, my tongue is the pen of a ready writer. Thou art fairer than the children of men; grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.... In thy majesty ride prosperously.because of truth, and meekness, and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.

Ps. cx, 2, 5, 6. The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies. The LORD at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath. lie shall judge among the heathen, he shall all the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.

Isa ix, 7. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, aud upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. . . . .

Isa. xvi, 5. And in mercy shall the throne be established; and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and basting righteousness.

And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all People, nations, and languages, should serve hin: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.
