Dr. Barnes W. McCormick, Ph.D., is well known in the aeronautical engineering community as the author of two texts, Aerodynamics of V/STOL Flight and Aerodynamics, Aeronautics and Flight Mechanics. The latter text is widely used as a reference and has recently been published as a second edition. Dr. McCormick is a fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and an honorary fellow of the American Helicopter Society. He has served as a consultant to many industrial, governmental and legal organizations. He is a past member of the Congressional Advisory Committee on Aeronautics and is currently the U.S. coordinator for the Flight Vehicle Integration Panel of NATO's Advisory Group for Aerospace Research and Development. Formerly the chief of aerodynamics for Vertol (now Boeing Helicopters) and the head of the Department of Aerospace Engineering at the Pennsylvania State University for sixteen years, Dr. McCormick is now retired from Penn State but maintains an office there.

Myron P. Papadakis, Esq., is experienced in all facets of the aeronautical endeavor wherein lies the moral obligation of the Air Safety Investigator to the public. He is a mechanical engineer who was both a Navy carrier pilot and a second-tour Navy research and development test pilot. He is currently a captain for a Delta Airlines. He holds captain ratings on Boeing 737, 727, 757, 767, L1001, L-15, and 767-400 equipment. He has logged in excess of 23,500 flight hours. His air safety work included Airline Pilots Association participation as: LEC safety chairman, incident investigator, and alternate to the all-weather flying committee. He has evaluated, investigated or litigated in excess of 350 aircraft accidents. He is a Fellow of the International Society of Air Safety Investigators. As an attorney, he has specialized in Air Law. For the past 16 years, he has been an adjunct professor of law at South Texas College of Law, where he teaches Aviation Law and Advanced Product Liability.
