See Ps. cx. 5. 6 You shall be injured neither by the scorching heat of the day, nor by the extreme cold of the night. 7 JEHOVAH will guard thee from every ill, JEHOVAH will guard thy life. 8 JEHOVAH will watch over thy going out and thy coming in, Henceforth even for ever. 1 PSALM CXXII. I REJOICE, when men say unto me: "Let us go unto the House of JEHOVAH! 2 "Our feet shall stand "Within thy gates, O Jerusalem !" 3 Jerusalem! She who is built a city, With which all the people have fellowship— 4 Whither the tribes go up The tribes of JEHOVAH, According to the revelation made unto Israel, 6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem ! 8 Because of my brethren and friends, I will say May peace be within thee! 9 Because of the House of JEHOVAH, our God, I will seek thy good. PSALM CXXIII. 1UNTO Thee do I raise mine eyes, Are upon the hand of their masters- Are upon the hand of her mistress; So are our eyes upon JEHOVAH, our God, 3 Be gracious unto us, O JEHOVAH, be gracious unto us; For we are filled, above measure, with contempt; 4 Above measure, are we filled With the scorn of those who live at ease With the contempt of the haughty. PSALM CXXIV. 1 HAD it not been JEHOVAH who was with us, May Israel now say 2 Had it not been JEHOVAH who was with us, When men rose up against us; 3 We had long ago been swallowed up alive, Because their anger was hot against us— 4 Long ago had the waters overwhelmed us— The torrent had gone over us— 5 Long ago had the torrent gone over us, Even the swollen waters! PSALM CXXIII. 2 Are upon the hand of their masters – when expecting to receive some token of their masters' favour. Blessed be JEHOVAH, Who did not give us up, a prey unto their teeth! 7 We are delivered, as a bird, from the snare of the fowler; The snare is broken, and we are delivered! Our help hath been in the Name of JEHOVAH, PSALM CXXV. 1 THOSE, who trust in JEHOVAH, are like mount Sion; It cannot be moved, it abideth for ever! As the hills are round about Jerusalem, Henceforth even for ever. Truly, the sceptre of the wicked Shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; Their hands unto iniquity. 4 Act kindly, O JEHOVAH, towards the good, Yea, towards the upright in heart. But as for those who turn aside into their crooked paths, May JEHOVAH destroy them with the workers of iniquity! May peace be upon Israel! PSALM CXXVI. 1 WHEN JEHOVAH brought back the captives of Sion, We were like persons in a dream! 2 Then was our mouth filled with laughter, Then was it said amongst the heathen: 3 JEHOVAH hath done great things for us, 4 Cause our captives to return, O JEHOVAH, Like streams of water in the desert! 5 Let those, who have sown in tears, Reap with songs of joy! 6 Let him, who, weeping, carried forth seed for his sowing, Come home with songs of joy, bearing his sheaves.
