Nine-tenths of the Profits are appropriated to the Assured.

Assurances may be effected on the lives of all persons who are, or have been, on the Books of a University or educated at any College, Hall, Foundation School, or other institution for the purposes of Education in the United Kingdom.

A Division of Profits is made every five years. Next Division in 1870.

At the Eighth Quinquennial Division of Profits, in June, 1865, THE ADDITIONS TO POLICIES WERE AT THE RATE OF 13 PER CENT. PER ANNUM FOR THE 5 YEARS. Since the establishment of the Society in 1825, the amount of Additions allotted to the Assured has exceeded £754,000.

The Fee to the Medical Referee is in each case paid by the Society.

Personal appearance at the Office is not required, except in particular cases.
FORMS OF PROPOSAL may be obtained on application at the Office.
