Render therefore to all their dues ; tribute to whom tribute is due, custom to whom custom, fear to whom fear, honour to whom honour. ,

Then saith he unto them, Render there. fore unto Cæfar the things which are Cæsar's; and unto Goding the things that are God's.

Q. Are we obliged to obey magistrates in fuch things as we are perfuaded in our minds

Q. What command giveth Christ to his people under the gospel, in relation to this matter? How doth he hold forth their duty under the parable of the tares ?

A. So the servants of the housholder Mat.13.... came, and faid unto him, Sir, didst not thou 20: fow good feed in thy field ? From whence then hath it tares? He faid unto them, An -enemy hath done this. The servants faid unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them np? But he said, Nay; left while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also' the wheat with them.

Q. Doth be explain these tares of the wicked, whom the goldly must not take upon them to cut off, left through mistake they hurt the good, but leave it to God, to do it by his angels. ' .

Concerning the Resurrection.
Quest.-What faith the scripture of the
resurrection of the dead?

they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.

All flesh is not the same flesh; but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial; but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one. star differeth from another star in glory. So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption; it is sown in dishonour, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power;

it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. ..

Q. The apofile seems to be very positive, that it is not that natural body, which we now

have, that mall rise; but a spiritual body. 1 Cor.

A. Now this I say, brethren, that flesh 15.? and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of 10 55.

God; neither doth corruption inherit in. corruption. O death, where is thy sting? O grave! where is thy victory?
