13th. The king has been pleased to grant the dignity of a baron of the united kingdom of great Britain and Ireland unto the right hon, sir John Mitford, knight, and to the heirs male of his body lawfully begotten, by the name, style, and title of baron Rededale, of Redesdale, in the county of Northumberland. The king has also been pleased to order letters patent, containing a grant unto the said right hon. John baron Redesdale of the office or place of chancellor and keeper of the great seal of Ireland, in the room of John earl of Clare, deceased.-The honour of knight hood has been conferred on Alexander Mackenzie, esq.
