The officers named in this order will, immediately upon its receipt by them, report by letter to the commanding officers of their respective corps or regiments, who will assign to batteries, troops, and companies those who have not been so assigned herein. The reports to the commanding officers should, in the absence of information as to their stations, be forwarded, under
