I..In accordance with the requirements of the Small Arms Firing Regulations, the accompanying tables, exhibiting the results of the rifle, carbine, and revolver firing of the Army for the target year 1893, and the comparative proficiency attained by the different organizations, are published for the information of the Army.

II. Troop "K," 5th Cavalry, having the highest "General Figure of Merit" for the year, is awarded the Nevada Trophy, and the Commanding Officer Company "G," 7th Infantry, in whose possession the trophy now is, will send it by express to the Commanding General Department of Texas, who, upon its receipt, will order the commanding officer of the winning troop to repair to his headquarters to secure the trophy and hold it until the result of next year's firing shall have been announced.
