THE Sermon on the Love of the Brotherhood, in this Volume, was intended at first to be published by itself; and for a reason which applies chiefly to the neighbourhood of the church in which it was preached but the writer was afterwards led to think that it would be less likely to answer the purpose which he had in view, if it appeared alone, than it might be if some few others were published with it.
