Mr. Lord moved to recommit said bill to the committee on the affairs of cities, with instructions to strike out the enacting clause.

On motion of Mr. Perry, and by unanimous consent, the bill was amended as follows:

In section 1, line 4, engrossed bill, strike out the words "county of Kings," and insert in lieu thereof the words "city of Brooklyn." Amend the title by striking out the words "county of Kings," and insert in lieu thereof the words "city of Brooklyn."

Said bill, as amended, was then read a third time.
