She studied with C. Peter Wagner and others at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California and earned her Doctor of Ministry in 2001. In 1997 she was honored with receiving the Harry Denman Evangelism Award from the Missouri West Conference for her work in church growth and evangelism.
