And for completing the faid navigation, the com. pany might raise 260,000l. and if not fufficient 60,000l. more. 23 Geo. 3. c. 47. for incorporating the river Douglas navigation with the Leeds and Liverpool. Proprietors impowered to make a deviation from the original line, and to complete the canal from Marsden, Pendle Foreft, Ightenhill Park, Gowthorp otherwife Gawthorp, Padiham, Hapton, Altham, Clayton, and Harwood otherwife Great Harwood, until the fame fhall communicate with the original intended canal at Nab or Banks Wood, in the township of Great Harwood.
