No. 137) entitled "An act to confer jurisdiction upon the Court of Claims to hear, audit and determine the claim of Daisy Bennett against the State for damages alleged to have been sustained by her while operating a mangle in the laundry of the New York State Training School for Girls, and to render judgment therefor," was read the third time.

The President put the question whether the Senate would agree to the final passage of said bill, the same having been printed and upon the desks of the members in its final form for three calendar legislative days, and it was decided in the affirmative, a majority of all the Senators elected voting in favor thereof, and three-fifths being present as follows:

damages for the death of said decedent caused through the alleged negligence of the State, its officers or agents, on the sixth day of June, nineteen hundred and twenty-four, while oiling a State road in the vicinity of Dundee, Yates county, and to render judgment therefor," was read the third time.
