SMITHFIELD.-March 25.

This day's supply of each kind of stock was even for that of a Lent Monday, very limited; but owing to advanced prices being stifly demanded, trade was, particularly in the early Mutton at an advance of full 2d. per stone; part of the day, very dull. With Beef and with Lamb, Veal and Pork at but little, if any, variation from Friday's quotations. The quality of the Beef and Mutton part of the supply was exceedingly prime, which was the cause of no inferior mutton being quoted.
