remains, and that his faults (for we all have faults) have been expiated by intense sufferings, long and patiently endured, by the merits of many years of missionary labor, and by the good which he performed during life, and whtch, now that he is dead, will live. in the grateful remembrance of his numerous friends, we leave them to the loving care of those to whom he gave the best years of his life.
