(Mr. Moore, Member for North Armagh),- for the purpose of 25 February 1907. discussing a definite matter of urgent public importance, viz., "the Page 59 of the action of His Majesty's present advisers in making an appointment to Votes. a Judgeship in the High Court of Justice in Ireland which has been vacant for the last three years;" and, the pleasure of the House having been signified, the Motion stood over, under Standing Order No. 10, until a quarter past Eight that evening, when the Question, That this House do now adjourn, was proposed, and the Question put, pursuant to Standing Order closure of Debate, and negatived on Division (Ayes, 63; Noes, 264).

(Sir Edward Sassoon, Member for Hythe),-for the purpose of 30 July 1907. discussing a definite matter of urgent public importance, viz., "the Report Page 613 of the of the Select Committee on the Radiotelegraphic Convention, and the Votes. declared intention of His Majesty's Government to proceed to ratification Radiotelegraphic without affording the House an opportunity of a discussion on the subject;" and the pleasure of the House being signified, the Motion stood over, under Standing Order No. 10, until a quarter past Eight that evening, when the Question, That this House do now adjourn, was put and negatived.
