The Nativity of our Lord, or the Birth-day of Christ, commonly called Christmas-day.
Lord, raise up, we pray thee, thy ALMIGHTY God, who hast given power, and come among us, and us thy only begotten Son to take with great might succour us; that our nature upon him, and as at this whereas, through our sins and wicked-time to be born of a pure Virgin; ness, we are sore let and hindered in grant that we, being regenerate and running the race that is set before us, inade thy children by adoption and thy bountiful grace and mercy may apeedily help and deliver us, through the satisfaction of thy Son our Lord to whom, with thee and the Holy Ghost, be honour and glory, work without end.
