Resolved, That said resolution pass.

Ordered, That the Clerk request the concurrence of the Senate therein.

Mr. Murray gave notice that he should tomorrow move for a re-consideration of the vote on the final passage of the resolution authorizing an alteration of the seats in the Representatives' hall.

"Mr. Speaker-The Senate concur with the House of Representtives in the passage of a resolution granting one volume of the revised statutes to the town of Clarksville.

Resolved, That the committee on the Judiciary be instructed to enquire into the expediency of so amending the law in relation to the publication of non-resident tax lists in certain newspapers in this State that the charges made by publishers of such papers shall be uniform, and that they report by bill or otherwise.

By leave of the House, Mr. Carroll from the committee on Incorporations to which was referred the petition of Robert Read and others to be incorporated by the name of the Amherst Steam Mill Company, reported a bill entitled "An act to incorporate the Amherst Steam Mill Company."

Which was read a first and second time.

Ordered, That said bill be referred to the committee on Bills on their Second Reading.

And then the House adjourned.

THURSDAY, JUNE 21, 1832. Mr. Wilkins presented the petition of James Martin and others, inhabitants of Epsom, that a gore of land may be severed from the town of Epsom and annexed to the town of Pembroke.

Ordered, That it be referred to the committee on Towns and Parishes.

Mr. Latham presented the petition of Samuel Woodbury, Colonel of the 23d regiment, for the removal of an officer.

Mr. Smith presented the petition of Daniel Waldron and others for the removal of certain officers of the 39th Regiment of Militia.

Ordered, That they be referred to the committee on Military Affairs. Mr. Putnam of Cornish presented the petition of William S. Deming and others for a bounty on foxes, and the taxation of dogs.

Ordered, That it be referred to the committee on the Judiciary. Mr. Wilson presented the account of Bradbury Bartlett, J. Wilson, Jr. J. A. Webber, A. Cady and J. M. Rix.

Ordered, That they be referred to the committee on Military Ac

counts.

Mr. George presented the account of James Buswell, also the account of Abner B. Kelly and the account of Jacob Tyler.

The Speaker announced the appointment of Mr. French of Newport to supply the vacancy in the joint committee on Engrossed Bills occasioned by the leave of absence granted to Mr. Coues.

Mr. Waldron, from the committee on Banks to whom was referred the petition of the Directors of the Granite Bank, made a report, whereupon

Resolved, That the further consideration of said petition be postponed to the next session of the legislature.

Mr. Tebbits, from the committee on Roads, Bridges and Canals to whom was referred the petition of the Cheshire Turnpike Corporation, made a report, whereupon

Resolved, That the further consideration of said petition be postponed to the first Tuesday of the next session of the legislature, and that the petitioners cause the substance of said petition and this reso lution to be published in the Sullivan Mercury, a newspaper printed in Charlestown three weeks successively, the last publication to be at least thirty days prior to said day of hearing, at which time those interested may appear and be heard before the standing committee on Roads, Bridges and Canals.

Mr. Litchfield, from the committee on Education to whom was referred so much of His Excellency's message as relates to the education of indigent deaf and dumb children, reported the following resolu.tion :

Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened, That the sum of fifteen hundred dollars of any money not otherwise appropriated be and the same is hereby appropriated for the purpose of educating indigent deaf and dumb children belonging to this State, at the Asyium in Hartford in Connecticut, to be expended and applied for the benefit of such indigent deaf and dumb children as His Excellency the Governor shall think proper; and the Governor is hereby authorized to draw said sum from the treasury by

warrant.

Ordered, That it be read a third time tomorrow at 3 o'clock, after

noon.

Mr. Montgomery, from the committee on Military Affairs, to whom was referred the petition of the field officers of the 20th regiment for the removal of an officer, made a report, whereupon

Mr. Wilson, from the committee on Military affairs to whom was re

ferred the petition of Anthony Colby; the petition of John S. Bryant; the petition of the officers of the 32d regiment; the petition of the officers of 21st regiment; the petition of William S. Hannaford; the petition of the officers of the 36th regiment; the petition of the offi cers of the 31st regiment; the petition of the officers of the 33d regiment; the petition of the colonel of the 24th regiment, severally praying for the removal of certain officers of the militia, reported the following address:

To His Excellency Samuel Dinsmoor, Captain General and Commander in Chief of the milltia of New-Hampshire :

The Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened, represent to your Excellency, That the following persons have been duly commissioned as officers of the militia of the State of New-Hampshire, and have removed and gone to reside without the limits of their respective commands, and have neglected to resign their commissions, namely, Moody Blood, captain of the fourth company of Infantry in the thirteenth regiment; William Shattuck, Lieutenant of the same company; William S. Ladd, Lieut. of the 8th company of Infantry in the 34th regiment; John Carter, Lieut. of the 11th company of Infantry of the 32d regiment; Daniel Cole, Ensign of the fourth company of Infantry in the 21st regiment; Alfred A. Gile, Ensign of the fifth company of Infantry in the said 21st regiment; James Robinson, Lieut. of the 2d company of Light Infantry in the 36th regiment; John R. Mason, Lieut. of the 8th company of Infanfantry in said 36th regiment; Quimby W. Lovereign, Captain of the 4th company of Infantry in the 31st regiment; Sylvester Bowman, Ensign of said 4th company; Daniel M. Mooney 2d Lieut. of Cavalry in the 33d regiment; George W. Ela, Lieut. of the 7th company of Infantry in the 24th regiment.

For which cause the Senate and House of Representatives respect. fully request your Excellency to remove the aforesaid persons from their respective commands, in conformity with the provisions of the constitution.

Ordered, That the Clerk request the concurrence of the Senate therein.

Mr. French, from the committee on Towns and Parishes to whom was referred the petition of Jesse J.Underhill and others for the removal of the Courts in the county of Rockingham, and for a new county to be composed of a part of the counties of Rockingham and Strafford, made a report, whereupon

Resolved, That so much of said petition as relates to the formation of a new county be indefinitely postponed.

That the further consideration of so much of said petition as relates to the removal of the courts from Exeter in the county of Rockingham

to some town in the westerly part of said county, be postponed to the first Tuesday of the next session of the legislature, and that the petitioners and all persons interested be then heard before the committee on Towns and Parishes, and that the petitioners notify all persons interested by causing the substance of the petition and this order thereon to be published three weeks successively in the New-Hampshire Gazette and the Portsmouth Journal, papers printed at Portsmouth, and the Exeter News-Letter, a paper printed at Exeter, all in the county of Rockingham, the last publication thereof to be at least six weeks previous to said session.

Mr. Gove, from the committee on the Judiciary to whom was referred the petition of William Claggett and others, and the report of the committee thereon, and a bill to incorporate the New-Hampshire bridge, made a report, whereupon

Resolved, That the further consideration of said subject be postponed to the next session of the legislature.

Mr. Graves, from the committee on Finance, to whom was referred the message of His Excellency transmitting the estimate of the Treasurer, reported the following resolution :

Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened, That the Treasurer of this State be, and he hereby is authorised to borrow on the credit of the State, and for the use of the same, a sum not exceeding thirty thousand dollars at a rate of interest not exceeding six per cent. and so much of the State tax payable into the Treasury on or before the first day of December, A. D. 1832, as will be sufficient to pay said loan and interest, is hereby appropriated for that purpose, and the said Treasurer is hereby authorized to apply said sum to that purpose as soon as a sufficient amount shall be paid into the treasury.

The rules of the House were so far suspended as to permit this resolution to be read a third time to-day at 3 o'clock afternoon.

Resolved, That the further consideration of that resolution be indefinitely postponed.

Mr. Peaslee, from the committee on Bills on their Second Reading, to whom was referred the bill entitled "An act for holding a Court of Probate in Chester, in the couuty of Rockingham," reported the same without amendment.

Mr. Rogers moved, that the further consideration of said bill be postoned to the next session of the legislature.
