A Message from the Senate by their Clerk.

"Mr. Speaker-The Senate concur with the House of Representatives in the passage of a resolution assigning the committee rooms to the several standing committees.

Also in the passage af a resolution instructing the joint committee on the Library to nominate some suitable person as Librarian for the present year.

Also in the passage of a resolution that prayers be attended in the Representatives' Hall at fifteen minutes before ten on the morning of each day of the session, until otherwise ordered."

Mr. Nesmith gave notice that he should on Tuesday next at 4 o'clock, afternoon, ask leave to introduce a bill entitled "An act to prevent fraud in the transfer of personal property mortgaged." A message from the Senate by their Clerk.

"Mr. Speaker-The Senate concur with the House of Representatives in the passage of a resolution appointing a committee to wait on His Excellency the Governor and the Honorable Council and inform them that prayers will be attended in the Representatives' Hall at 15 minutes before ten o'clock on each day of the session until otherwise ordered, and have on their part joined Mr. Whittemore."

Mr. Wilcox gave notice that he should tomorrow ask leave to introduce a bill entitled "An act to provide further for the collection of taxes in certain cases."

Mr. Mallard presented the petition of Woodbury Melcher and others to be incorporated by the name of the Winnipisiogee Steam boat company.

Mr. Waldron presented the petition of the proprietors of the NewHampshire Hotel and Portsmouth Pier for an amendment to their charter.

Mr. Curtis presented the petition of Horace Chase and others, Trustees of Hopkinton Academy, for an increase of the number of Trustees of said Academy.

Mr. Ingalls of Dunstable presented the petition of Reuben Gree-. ly and others for the incorporation of the proprietors of the First Baptist Society in Dunstable.

Mr. Crosby presented the petition of Solomon K. Livermore and others for the incorporation of the First Congregational Society in Milford.

Mr. Stevens of Mason presented the memorial of Solomon K. Livermore and others in relation to a petition for the incorporation of the First Congregational Society in Milford.

Ordered, That they be referred to the committee on Incorporations. Mr. Fellows of Boscawen presented the petition of the Field Officers of the 21st regiment for the removal of an officer.

Mr. Albee presented the petition of the Field officers of the 32d regiment for the removal of an officer.

A message from His Excellency the Governor by the Secretary of State.

"Mr. Speaker-I am directed to introduce to the House of Representatives John N. Sherburne, Esquire, who has been duly qualified as a Representative from the town of Portsmouth."

Mr. Sherburne appeared and took his seat.

Mr. Rogers gave notice that he should tomorrow ask leave to introduce a bill entitled "An act in addition to an act entitled "An act to incorporate suridry persons by the name of the Piscataqua Bank."

Also a bill entitled "An act to incorporate the Rockingham Mutual Fire Insurance Company."

Mr. Kent of Concord gave notice that he should tomorrow ask leave to introduce a bill entitled "An act in addition to an act entitled an act to empower school districts to build and repair school houses."

The following message in writing was received from His Excellency the Governor by the Secretary of State, which was read and is as follows:

Executive Department,
June 12, 1832.

I herewith communicate the sentiments entertained by the Government of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in reference to the contested line of the northeastern boundary of the United States, the opinion and recommendation of His Majesty the King of the Netherlands for the settlement thereof, and the rights and interests of the State of Massachusetts and Maine which would be affected by adopting that decision.

Resolved, That the House will be ready to meet the Senate in Convention tomorrow at 4 o'clock, afternoon, for the purpose of proceeding in the elections, agreeably to the provisions of the constitution. Ordered, That the Clerk inform the Senate thereof.

Mr. Skinner gave notice that he should tomorrow ask leave to introduce a bill entitled "An act making further provisions for paying the damages caused by laying out and making highways."

Resolved, That the committee on the Judiciary be instructed to enquire into the expediency of altering or amending the act more effectually to secure to the citizens of this State their rights of suffrage passed June 26, 1827.

Also, an act regulating the choice of Moderator.

Also, an act in addition to an act the more effectually to secure the rights of suffrage to the citizens of this State, approved July 2, 1831. Mr. Harmon introduced the following resolution

Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened, That the Secretary be and hereby is authorized and directed to deliver to the Town Clerk of North Effingham or his order a copy of the statute Laws together with an impression of Carrigain's map of New-Hampshire.
