Resolved by the Senate snd House of Representatives in General Court convened, That the Secretary be and hereby is authorised and directed to deliver to the Town Clerk of North Effingham, or his order, a copy of the statute laws, together with one impression of Carrigain's map of New-Hampshire.

The bill entitled "An act to incorporate Ichabod Bartlett and others, and their associates, by the name of the Winnipiseogee Steam Boat Company," was read a first and second time.

The bill entitled "An act to incorporate a provident institution in the town of Newmarket, to be called the Newmarket Savings Bank,” was read a first and second time.

The bill entitled “An act in addition to an act entitled an act to incorporate sundry persons by the name of the Rockingham Bank," was read a first and second time.

Ordered That the same be referred to the committee on Banking Institutions.

Mr. Jackson, from the committee on Schools and Seminaries of Learning, to whom was referred the resolution granting one copy of the laws of this State and one of Carrigain's maps to the town of NorthEffingham, reported the same without amendment.

Mr. Drown submitted the following resolution.

Resolved, That the committee on the judiciary be instructed to enquire whether any alteration is necessary in the act entitled "An act empowering school districts to build and repair school houses," passed July 6, 1827, relative to assigning and raising money for that purpose. On motion

Mr. Carr, from the committee on Unfinished Business, reported that "A bill entitled an act in addition to and in amendment of an act entitled an act to declare the Jurisdiction of the court of Common Pleas, and of the Superior Court of Judicature, and to regulate the proceedings in the same courts, passed January 2, 1829; also, a bill entitled. "An act for the benefit of towns and places that have exercised corporate powers for twenty years or more; and also a resolution from the House of Representatives on the report adopted by the General As<sembly of the State of Missouri, were partially acted upon the last session of the legislature, and the further consideration of the same postponed to the present session.

"Mr. President-The House of Representatives have passed a resolution appointing Joseph Robinson Librarian during the present year. They have also passed the following bills, viz.

"A bill entitled "An act to incorporate sundry persons by the name of the Portsmouth Bleaching Company."

A bill entitled "An act in addition to an act for establishing an equitable mode of making taxes," passed July 7, 1827.

A bill entitled "An act supplementary to an act entitled an act in addition to an act passed Jan. 8, 1795, entitled an act to incorporate certain persons and their associates into a proprietary by the name of the New-Hampshire Hotel and Portsmouth Pier."-In which resolution and bills they request the concurrence of the Senate."

And he withdrew.

The resolution last received from the House of Representatives was read and is as follows:
